I’ve always been fascinated by the power of storytelling.
I went into marketing largely because of this fascination. I’m interested in understanding what makes a story resonate, and how we can tweak and adapt a relatively standard formula to create many different types of stories across a growing collection of media, channels, and formats.

Content burnout is real. I’ve seen employees so discouraged by their inability to create impactful content in their organization that they simply give up.
From content marketer to strategist
My journey to the world of content strategy has been an odd one. I studied marine biology in school, worked as an environmental scientist for a while, then as a marine biologist, and then transitioned into marketing, content management, and am now a content strategist. It has, in its own weird way, felt natural.
